FORCEfull Scriptures - The Power of the Cross

Our magnet puzzle is a  wonderful introduction to some of the names of the Jesus. Each piece of the magnet has a picture, title and bible verse. Throughout the series we will be discussing these names and many more.

1. Jesus, the Lamb of God

    John 1:29   

The next day John saw Jesus coming to him, and said, "There is the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!

2. Jesus, the Prince of Peace
    Isaiah 9:6

A child is born to us! A son is given to us! And he will be our ruler. He will be called, "Wonderful Counselor," "Mighty God," "Eternal Father," "Prince of Peace."

3. Jesus, the Messiah
    John 1:41, 45

Andrew went to find his brother, Simon, and told him, “We have found the Messiah” (which means “Christ”). Philip found Nathanael and told him, "We have found the one whom Moses wrote about in the book of the Law and whom the prophets also wrote about. He is Jesus son of Joseph, from Nazareth."

4. Jesus, Kings of Kings
    Revelation 19:11, 16

Then I saw heaven open, and there was a white horse. Its rider is called Faithful and True; it is with justice that he judges and fights his battles. On his robe and on his thigh was written the name: "King of kings and Lord of lords."

5. Jesus, the Savior
    John 3:16   

For God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not die but have eternal life.
